Flight Arrangements - AO Trips
You will receive an email with a link to your flight itinerary once you have completed your online registration, are assigned to a group and your buy-in is paid in full. You will have 24 hours to respond with any concerns regarding your flight itinerary. It is important that you review all information provided, including the spelling of each passenger’s name, booked departure city and dates of travel. Please contact Gavel International immediately if there is anything that needs to be corrected.
Once your airline tickets are issued, changes are subject to penalties and service fees, which will be your responsibility. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. You will receive an electronic ticket confirmation from Gavel International for your flights and will not receive a paper ticket. Seat assignments as well as any special seat requests will be submitted to the airlines; however, they are not guaranteed and may not appear on your itinerary.
Approximately 2-3 weeks prior to your departure, a packet of information will be mailed to you. If your mailing address or email address has changed since you registered, please contact the Auto-Owners Incentive Travel department with your updated information.
Please enter your frequent flyer account numbers and TSA pre-check or Global Entry numbers during registration. If you have already registered, you may also provide it to the Auto-Owners Insurance Travel Desk at Gavel International and it will be added to the applicable airline reservation. Including a frequent flyer number is not a request or guarantee for a specific airline. Group airline tickets are secured for best routing to the destination. Sea upgrades are not available with group air reservations.

If you have travelers on your registration that wish to fly from different airports, please indicate that in the Transportation section of your online registration.
Most airlines advise against travel within a month of the due date, unless the passenger is examined and obtains a medical certificate within 48 hours of departure stating that she is fit to travel. As policies vary by airline, please check with your carrier for current restrictions.
If you would like to upgrade your seats to an option other than coach/economy, you can arrange your own air travel and receive the air allowance. You will be reimbursed for the actual cost of coach/economy tickets, up to the maximum amount as indicated in the Make Your Own Arrangements section. Seat upgrades will not be reimbursed.
Auto-Owners Insurance and Gavel International will utilize airlines that provide the best schedule for the program and fare from your home city to Huntington Beach.
We have found that commuter or connecting flights are often delayed and can cause missed connections. Therefore, we recommend you consider driving to a major gateway airport, if possible. Auto-Owners goal is to get you to your destination as efficiently and conveniently as possible.
