Airline on-time arrival is nearly 90%, and very few people experience a mishandled piece of luggage. While these are good results, it can be a real curveball if something unexpected happens to you.
The pros say to stay calm, be flexible and don’t let it ruin your vacation. Remember, there’s always fun around every corner for those who decide to stay in a positive frame of mind.
Locate your passports and check the expiration dates. If you and your travel companion don’t have passports, go ahead and apply for one now. Adult passports are valid for 10 years.
A valid passport for Switzerland that expires no sooner than six months after your travel dates is required to select a trip date. To be on the safe side, look for an expiration date after May 1, 2022. Passports are not required for the Huntington Beach Trip.

TSA Preè provides expedited security screening benefits for flights departing from U.S. airports. Global Entry provides the TSA Preè benefit plus expedited U.S. customs screening for international air travelers when entering the U.S.
TSA Preè costs $85 and Global Entry costs $100 for a five-year membership. Travelers interested in one of these programs can apply through the Trusted Traveler Programs page at tsa.gov.
Security lines just seem to get longer. Arrive at the airport two hours prior to domestic U.S. flights and three hours prior to international flights to give yourself enough time to get through security.
Make sure you leave adequate time for connecting flights to increase your likelihood of making your connection, even if your previous flight was delayed.
Be sure to read all the information we send throughout the campaign period and the pre-trip material you receive prior to departure. You can find up-to-date details at aotrips.com.
When traveling as a couple, pack clothes for both travelers in each of the suitcases you check at the counter, just in case one is delayed. Bring a carry-on bag for items such as your important documents and passport, medications, change of clothes, electronic devices and other items important to you for daily living. Keep in mind liquids must be in travel-size containers less than 3.4 ounces.
To help reduce jet lag, stay hydrated during your travel and consider changing the time on your watch after boarding the plane. This will help you acclimate to a new time zone.
