Family Trips - AO Trips
Children and grandchildren of eligible trip participants are welcome to travel on family designated groups to Banff. Any children that will be traveling should be entered in the registration system prior to selecting travel dates in order to confirm availability of lodging.
The hotel allows up to four people per room. Families of more than four will be accommodated with a second room for an additional cost. Due to the uniqueness of this hotel, connecting rooms are not available. We will accommodate neighboring/same floor rooms for families as much as possible.
The cost of an additional room for four nights is $1,670 in addition to the per child buy-in charges below. Children under age two travel for free and will ride on a parent’s lap on the airplane.

For those traveling as children, the buy-in cost includes roundtrip airfare, applicable hotel accommodations, transfers, daily breakfast, group dinners as outlined in the itinerary, and gratuities.
The buy-in cost for child travelers and additional rooms can be waived if the following criteria is met:
Life Qualification Method
$54,000 premium increase in Property/Casualty lines and three additional issued life, disability, or annuity policies, per child.
The additional cost of the required second room for families can be waived by producing an additional:
$48,000 premium increase in Property/Casualty lines.
P&C Qualification Method
$75,000 premium increase in Property/Casualty lines per child.
The additional cost of the required second room for families can be waived by producing an additional:
$48,000 premium increase in Property/Casualty lines.
If you choose a second room that is not required, the additional cost will be your responsibility and cannot be waived. A second room for families not requiring one is subject to availability.
