TAXI OR UBER FROM AMSTERDAM SCHIPHOL AIRPORT

Taxis can be found at Schiphol's official taxi stand in front of Schiphol Plaza, for a quick and easy journey. Always follow the signs for taxis so you know you are getting into an approved taxi.
Approximate cost is € 60,00 - € 70,00.

Uber is available in Amsterdam, and it is usually less expensive than an official taxi. Pick up location of the Uber is outside exit door B (which is situated next to the Hertz counter in the arrivals hall) across the first roadway. You'll see a lot of people looking at their phones. There are blue license plate numbers on arriving cars. By the Hilton Hotel side of the road.

Follow the instructions below to find the designated pick-up point

  • Follow the signs to the trains and car rental companies after exiting the baggage hall and customs
  • Take the exit at the car rental counters

For UberX (blue dot on the map above):

  • Cross the four roads you see before you

  • Turn right and follow the pavement

  • Your driver is waiting for you next to the bus stop

For Black or Van (red dot on the map above):

  • Turn right and continue until Exit B (1 min walk)

  • Your driver is waiting on the side of the road.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

In the Netherlands, you check in and out of public transport using your bank card or credit card. This applies to the train, bus, tram, and metro. There’s also the option to buy individual tickets; the choice is yours.

TRAIN FROM AMSTERDAM SCHIPOL AIRPORT

The airport train station is located directly below the terminal building. Take the escalator or lift downstairs and board the train departing from Platform 1 & 2.
A train leaves every 10 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station (no change in trains).
The train gets you to Amsterdam Central Station in 14-17 minutes.

If you are staying in Amsterdam for a few days prior to your charter it is less expensive to purchase a 48 / 72 hrs. ticket for all public transport – For example, if you opt for a 2-day ticket, you can travel 48 hours from the first check-in.
