Disney by Land & Sea
Make Your Own Arrangements

***We will be arriving into and departing from the Orlando International Airport (MCO) in Orlando, Florida. Please make sure you are using the correct airport if you are planning to use our group ground transportation.  Additional details are below. ***

After October 14, 2025, any changes made to your transportation choice could result in penalty fees.  Please send your flight itinerary with confirmation number and receipt to incentive.travel@aoins.com upon booking.

In order to receive reimbursement for your flights, a detailed flight itinerary and receipt must be received by November 14, 2025.  The itinerary and receipt need to show the itemized costs for the ticket, any other options or upgrades, and the flight confirmation number.

  • Please do not book your flights until you have been assigned to your travel dates.

  • If itemized costs are not submitted, we will determine the reimbursement amount based on available coach/economy class tickets for the same itinerary.

Reimbursements will only be made for coach/economy class tickets.  We will not reimburse for upgrades or other add-ons, such as inflight Wi-Fi, meals, premium seating, luggage, insurance or other items that are not a part of the base price of the ticket.

  • If you are flying on dates other than the group travel dates or visiting other destinations, we will reimburse for the flight from your home city to the first destination and back home from your final destination.  We will not reimburse for flights or other transportation in-between your departure and return dates or for flights that include a hotel stay in another city.

  • If your flights are delayed or cancelled, you will be responsible for rebooking your flights.

  • Reimbursements will not be made for additional expenses incurred due to flight delays or cancellations.

Reimbursements will be sent to you via check from Auto-Owners Insurance AFTER you have traveled on the trip.

Auto-Owners Insurance will reimburse you for the cost of your flights up to the maximum amount of $400 per traveler based on the price of coach/economy class tickets.

  • If you will be using airline reward points, miles, or vouchers for the entire fare, OR traveling to the destination by methods other than a commercial flight, you will receive a compensation check for $300 per traveler.

  • Once we receive your flight itinerary and receipt, we will confirm your reimbursement amount.  Should you later make changes to your itinerary, your reimbursement amount will not change.

  • Air allowances will not be reimbursed for cancelled trips.

  • You are arriving/departing on designated group arrival/departure days.

  • If you are extending your trip before or after the group dates and your arrival or departure date overlaps with those of another group, transfers will be provided within the designated times below.

  • If your flight is delayed causing you to arrive after the arrival window indicated above, transfers will not be provided unless there are other Auto-Owners travelers on that same flight using program air.

  • Your complete flight itinerary and receipt must be received by November 14, 2025.

  • There will be no transfers available from airports other than Orlando International Airport (MCO).

  • Traveling with children:  please bring car seats or booster seats for children as needed. If you need a car seat or booster seat provided for you, there will be an additional cost and this needs to be arranged in advance at the time of booking.

Arrival Window: Fights between 12pm – 4pm

Transportation will be provided from the Orlando International Airport (MCO), Terminal B to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on a group arrival day (Saturday).

Departure Window:  12:30pm and later (11:15am – 12:30pm if carrying luggage off the ship with Express Walk-Off)

Transportation from The Wish will be provided by Disney Cruise Line on group departure day (Friday). Disney Cruise Line buses will take guests to the Orlando Airport (MCO). If you are extending your stay at a Disney Resort after the cruise, Disney Cruise Line buses will take you to the resort.

Departure flights should not be booked prior to 11:15am on departure day to allow enough time to travel to the airport.  If flights are booked between 11:15am and 12:30pm, guests will need to utilize the Express Walk-Off option and must carry ALL luggage with them off the ship, through the cruise terminal and U.S. Customs.

We recommend that you book flights after 12:30pm. This will allow you to utilize the ship’s bag pull service and have your luggage waiting for you in the cruise terminal to pick up before you board your bus to the airport. (Details on when to pack and have your luggage ready for pick-up from your cabin will be provided during the cruise).

Typically, everyone will need to disembark the ship by 9:00am. If you are booking a later flight out, you may still ride a Disney Cruise Line bus to the Orlando International airport (MCO) to wait for your flight. The Orlando airport has food and shopping options both before and after TSA security checkpoints.

Ground Transportation from Orlando International Airport to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

If you do not meet the above criteria to join the group transportation or if you arrive or depart on non-group arrival and departure days, you will be responsible for your own transportation arrangements to and from the airport and resort. The transfer time from the Orlando International Airport to the Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic.
